Shahda Al Taie

Shahda has over a decade of experience advising public and private sector companies across MENA in areas related to Sustainability/ ESG strategy and reporting, climate change strategies (decarbonization and net zero, energy management, etc.), ESG rating, circular economy, social outcomes measurement, among other topics. Shahda has supported regional ministries, government authorities, as well as key sector players in the Government and Public Services, Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, and other sectors across MENA. She joined KPMG in 2022 and has played a pivotal role in driving KPMG's ESG/ Sustainability practice across the UAE, Oman, KSA, and Jordan. Shahda is also the Chair of KPMG's Leaders 2050 Network in the Lower Gulf, which is an external network for young professionals in all sectors who have an interest in sustainability, clean growth, and the net zero agenda, with a focus on diversity and inclusion. Shahda has been actively working with the rest of the network to support future leaders within KPMG and our clients with building the skills, networks and purpose that they need to drive towards a Net Zero future.
