Richard Ackland

Richard is a partner at KPMG Lower Gulf, working with some of the largest and most well-known clients in the UAE. Prior to his current role, he was a partner with KPMG in London. During his tenure in the UK, he also served as the first full-time executive director for the One Hundred Group of Finance Directors and worked with the European Roundtable of Industrialists CFO Task Forum. He has also worked closely with the Middle East region’s largest sovereign wealth fund and family business group in the Middle East. Richard’s experience spans a variety of sectors, with a particular emphasis on industrialists operating in aerospace, logistics, chemicals and pharmaceuticals.

He is a Fellow of the ICAEW and possesses a BSc in economics (1st Class Hons) from the London School of Economics (University of London Award for Best Economics degree).
