After graduating with a master’s in economics and law from the University in Saarbrucken in 2013, Nina began her career at KPMG Luxembourg in the CIPS (commerce, industry and public sector) audit department. When Nina started with KPMG, she had no audit experience. She had worked with an international commercial company during her studies but decided a career in audit would give her a more diverse exposure of commercial companies.

“The main reason why I decided to work for KPMG Luxembourg is to have the possibility to contribute to a global firm in an international environment. During my interview, I had a “good feeling” and this has not changed after almost 7 years working for KPMG Luxembourg. I love that I can work in such a multicultural company and still live very close to my family.”

What do you like about your role at KPMG Luxembourg?

“I am a manager in the audit department for the commerce, industry and public sector. I am working and supervising different audit missions. It’s nice to work with many different teams and a lot of different clients with a wide spread of different businesses. The most exciting part is the variety – there are no two days alike and since I joined KPMG, I continue learning, growing and discovering new things even after seven years in the firm.”
