Mr. Doug McPhee

Doug McPhee is a Corporate Finance Partner with KPMG in the UK and Global Head of Valuation Services, heading up a division comprising more than 1,300 professionals across more than 50 member firm countries and leading a dedicated team of professionals based in London, UK. Doug and his team deal with a wide range of complex commercial valuation issues in the context of mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, financing transactions, strategic reviews, reorganizations, government-mandated mergers, joint ventures and disputes. Doug’s team can provide investment and transactional advice in pricing negotiations, fairness opinions on the price and terms of a transaction, goodwill impairment tests, purchase price allocations, and mark-to-market valuations. Doug joined KPMG in Canada in 1991 before relocating to KPMG in the UK in 1997, being admitted to the partnership in 2001. He has extensive global experience based on acting for major public coporations, funds and governments in leading assignments in Africa, Europe, North America, South America, and across Asia and the Middle East. Doug has spoken about commercial valuations, joint ventures and the valuation of intangible assets at various conferences, in the press and through his several published international studies.
