Biography

Darius has been with KPMG since 2004, where he started his career as an IT auditor, as part of the graduate training programme. In 2005, he was seconded to KPMG in Denver, USA (6 month duration), as well as KPMG in Calgary, Canada in 2006 (6 month duration).

Darius subsequently focused his skillset on the advisory side of technology projects, specifically in advising complex technology projects. His experience is broad-ranging, including strategic sourcing, technology strategy development, project management, SDLC execution, IT risk management and independent review and assurance.

Darius has recently assumed a new role of using Microsoft cloud solutions to transform the finance function within large organisations. As such, he is one of KPMG South Africa’s leads in establishing KPMG’s Powered Finance solution in the market. His project role typically includes the review and update of an organisation’s operating structures, reporting structures and business processes, to name a few areas of focus.
