Malcolm leads the Actuarial Division at KPMG in South Africa. He qualified as an actuary through the UK Institute of Actuaries in 2003. He has more than 20 years’ insurance industry experience in the South African, Australian and UK markets. Malcolm has more than 15 years post-qualification non-life insurance experience, including 5 years as partner heading up the actuarial team in South Africa, 3 years managing the reserving team and quarterly reporting to the Board for a large non-life insurer in London and 2 years developing and implementing SAM and ORSA equivalents for a global reinsurer in Sydney, again working closely with senior management and the Board
