Cindy Felix

Cindy is a procurement professional with 15 years of consulting experience in transfer pricing and supply chain management. She specialises in Procurement Transformation and has worked across the industry specifically in Public Sector, Mining, Financial Services with project experience in Telecoms and Manufacturing. Cindy has strong project management, technical and operational experience and has led multiple teams on projects across areas within the procurement function. She also has operational procurement experience as a procurement manager and understand the challenges faced by procurement in value creation and meeting stakeholder demands.

Cindy was the Procurement Manager at a state-owned entity for a period of 13 months, which involved operational management of the Procurement function and all relevant business processes such as the Procurement Strategy and Planning, Demand Management, Sourcing Process, Supplier Development, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Procure to Pay Process (P2P - SAP), Vendor Management, Information Management, Analytics and Reporting, GRC, Internal and External Audits and implementing various business process improvement initiatives such as cost savings strategies, process efficiencies, skills and knowledge transfer.

She led a team in the Data Analytics workstream for a Telecoms client which provided insights for Human Resources, Finance, Procurement and Capital Working Projects work streams.

She was the engagement manager at a public sector treasury department to perform real-time and probity review on Open Tenders providing a findings report with the proposed recommendations to the client. Cindy also assisted the client with their Public Seminar on the Open Tender Process event and formed part of the working committee assisting at the event covering the Open Society Plenary session. She developed, advised and assisted the client with the Open Tender Process Framework they required for their internal departments.
