Carl has spent his career helping organizations operate more efficiently and profitably. As Global Head of Advisory, Carl sits on KPMG International’s Global Management Team. He is also Vice Chair – Advisory for KPMG in the US, where he has spearheaded the expansion of the US Advisory practice beyond its traditional service areas to include a new strategy division which has grown to compete with the top strategy firms.

He has been critical in ensuring that Advisory’s operational functions support and align with the business’s strategic goals and has been deeply involved in the career and skills development of Advisory professionals. Carl truly lives the philosophy of being a “leader who serves” and has been a supportive mentor to other professionals at all levels. He is known to lead by example, inspire people to high performance and generously give credit and recognition to those who have helped get the job done right. He has previously served as KPMGs national account leader for the banking and finance sector, working with large, mid-tier and community banks in the areas of strategic development, post-deal merger integration, profit improvement and internal-control best practices.
