At KPMG, our focus on lifelong learning goes beyond the classroom. We work with the wider community to offer innovative coaching and mentoring programs and participate in global partnerships that help build skills, learning and progression across a lifetime. By embracing the role we all play as educators, we are making an important contribution towards the achievement of UN Sustainable Development Goal 4, to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, helping to unlock a prosperous and inclusive future. Our commitment to learning is a key enabler for all 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Lifelong learning: creating the change we need for the world we want

UNESCO Global Education Coalition

KPMG is one of the private sector founding partners, along with Microsoft, GSMA, Weidong, Google, Facebook, Zoom and Coursera, who collectively will be donating resources and expertise around technology, notably connectivity, and capacity strengthening. It is a great example of KPMG living its purpose, building on its longstanding citizenship commitment to SDG 4 ‘Education and Lifelong Learning’ and its expertise as a learning provider for clients and our people.

KPMG's Family for Literacy

Recognizing that strong reading skills are the basis for future success, and that the biggest obstacle to children's literacy in low-income communities is a lack of books, KPMG's Family for Literacy (KFFL) program helps lay a foundation for lifelong learning at the very start of a child's education. By providing access to books, KFFL is helping promote literacy - unlocking potential and opening doors to opportunity for children worldwide.

Since KFFL's inception in the US in 2008, 12 KPMG member firms now participate with over five million books distributed in schools across the world.

Junior Achievement

Junior Achievement (JA) Worldwide is a not-for-profit organization addressing the social and economic challenges of over 10 million young people. JA provides hands-on financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work-readiness learning, enabling students to use their skills to strengthen their families, communities, countries and economies.

For more than two decades, Enactus has been an integral part of KPMG's citizenship programs around the world. Together, we help mobilize students to make a difference in their communities, while they also develop the skills that will enable them to become the next generation of socially responsible business leaders.

Enactus World Cup competitors are national champion teams from 30 countries. Each team has 17 minutes to showcase their projects of entrepreneurial action that are making a difference in the world, and have the momentum to create new careers and spark business innovation.
