KPMG, which already works with large multinationals, private business and public government sector organisations across the Central Region, will be the first of the “Big 4” firms to have a dedicated presence in Danang.

Chairman and CEO of KPMG in Vietnam and Cambodia, Warrick Cleine, said: “The opening of our new office in Danang reflects KPMG’s recognition of the contribution that the Central Region has and will continue to play in fuelling Vietnam’s economic growth and prosperity.

Mr. Cleine continued by saying, “establishing a permanent presence in Danang was a logical step for KPMG given the number of clients we currently serve in the region, and I am excited at the opportunities that this will provide to our staff and clients”.

In conjunction with the office opening ceremony, KPMG in Vietnam also launched for the first time in Danang, its highly successful annual KPMG Institute event on December 17, 2015.

The symposium saw more than 100 business leaders and government officials hear from KPMG’s leading partners on areas such as the impact of TPP and AEC, recent regulatory updates, as well as market trends & insights on critical business issues related to tax and finance. The KPMG Vietnam Institute, is one of the high profile events organised by the Firm annually, and this year also took place in HCM City on December 11, 2015 and in Ha Noi on December 15, 2015.
