The Canada Border Services Agency released an updated list of imported goods that will be targeted for potential audits.
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) released an updated list of 12 imported goods that will be targeted for potential audits.
The CBSA’s July 2024 updated list of audit priorities now include gloves. Although the CBSA removed certain imported goods from its list (including cell phone cases, parts of lamps, certain machinery parts, and safety headgear), these imports continue to be subject to regular verification processes.
Affected businesses need to identify imported goods in their supply chain that may be subject to increased verification activities (also known as audit activities) from the CBSA to make sure that they are meeting their trade compliance obligations on these and other imported goods.
