Mina leads the Energy & Natural Resources sector team in Japan since 2012. Her team has provided advices to major utilities such as Tokyo Electric, Kansai Electric, Chubu Electric, Tokyo Gas, Osaka Gas and JERA. Also has provided advices to major Japanese general trading companies such as Mitsubishi Corporation, Mitsui & Co, Marubeni. Also clients like Inpex and refineries like JXTG and Idemitsu are their clients.
Mina and her team are working closely with clients to set new strategy and to transform the way they do businesses to fit the people and society in the next generation. This includes, preparation for energy liberalization and full unbundling in Japan in 2020, investment in renewables and transforming to fit to the next generation energy landscape, and digitalization. Simultaneously, KPMG Japan is focusing on LNG sector especially from Asian buyers and traders point of view, and actively participating in the discussion to contribute the development of LNG commodity market in Asia.
