Helping clients meet their business challenges begins with an in-depth understanding of the industries in which they work. That’s why KPMG LLP established its industry-driven structure. In fact, KPMG LLP was the first of the Big Four firms to organize itself along the same industry lines as clients.

Larry Kocot is a Principal at KPMG, LLP and National Leader of KPMG’s Center for Healthcare Regulatory Insight. Mr. Kocot provides advice and counsel to companies on corporate strategy and regulatory matters relating to public health care programs, including Medicare and Medicaid. Mr. Kocot has served as counsel to a wide range of corporations and associations on a variety of different matters, including internal investigations and audits, as well as disputes with federal and state agencies. Since leaving government, Mr. Kocot has been involved in a number of successful payment and delivery initiatives, including running technical expert panels (TEPs) for new payment models under contract for the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI).

Prior to joining KPMG, Mr. Kocot practiced law at Epstein Becker Green, PC, and Dentons, US LLP.
