Steve Gardon
Vice President, Global Indirect Taxes & Customs
Based in Southfield, MI, Steve is responsible for Lear’s indirect tax, customs, trade program and export controls activities. Lear is a Tier 1 automotive supplier with manufacturing operations in 37 countries. He has more than 25 years experience in indirect tax and customs matters. Steve worked with Arthur Andersen from 1990 to 2002, initially in Toronto and then at its Detroit office. He was then a Principal with Ernst & Young from 2002-2008. Steve joined Lear in August 2008. He has Masters Degree from Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies, in Washington, D.C. and a Bachelors Degree in International Relations from the University
