Fact-finding questionnaire to better understand how FATCA and the common reporting standar
The Commissioner for Revenue on 2 September 2022 launched a fact-finding questionnaire to better understand how FATCA and the common reporting standard (CRS) are being implemented in practice.
The aim of the questionnaire is to assist the Commissioner for Revenue in identifying practical difficulties faced by financial institutions to be able to provide the necessary support to financial institutions and address these issues.
The questionnaire is split into three sections:
- Due diligence procedures
- Reporting
- Application of FATCA and CRS in practice
The questionnaire will be available for four weeks.
