Comprehensive measures to strengthen tax administration for e-commerce activities

The Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Taxation have developed and initiated implementation of comprehensive measures to strengthen tax administration for e-commerce activities.

The measures include:

  • Launching a web portal (Etaxvn.gdt.gov.vn) and eTax Mobile application
  • Coordination between the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Information and Communication on the tax administration for e-commerce enterprises
  • Strengthening tax administration by local tax authorities for e-commerce activities
  • Commercial banks to report data of taxpayers' payment accounts to the tax authorities
