Mexico: Extension of time for start-of-work notices (Yucatán)

The decree is effective 1 April 2022 through 31 December 2022.

The decree is effective 1 April 2022 through 31 December 2022 (Yucatán).

The government of Yucatán state on 31 March 2022 published a decree extending time for presenting start-of-work notices of start or incidents of work (presentación de avisos de inicio o incidencias de obra).

Taxpayers making disbursements as renumeration for construction work or for a specific time and that were required to present notices of start of work for the months of April and May 2022, may do so during June 2022.

The data that must be reported includes:

  • Work start-date
  • Type of work to be executed, that is, public or private
  • Location
  • Number of workers
  • Duration time
  • Total labor cost
  • Building license number
  • Number of square meters of construction
  • Suspension, resumption, cancellation and termination, as the case may be

The decree is effective 1 April 2022 through 31 December 2022.
