Guidance to extend certain deadlines related to VAT and certain tax obligations
The tax authority issued guidance (Resolución RND N° 102200000006 (8 April 2022)) to extend certain deadlines related to value added tax (VAT) and certain tax obligations.
The guidance:
- Extends until 13 April 2022 (from 9 April 2022) the deadline regarding documents submitted or confirmed in the VAT purchases and sales registry (Registro de Compras y Ventas IVA) for transactions conducted during March 2022 (in general, the deadline is the ninth day of each month)
- Extends until 14 April 2022, for those taxpayers whose tax identification number ends in zero, the deadline for filing affidavits, remitting taxes, and complying with certain other tax obligations (except for actions regarding the VAT purchases and sales registry) for March 2022
