Colombia: Temporary reduction of customs tariff on certain household products

Modified customs tariff for the importation of products that affect the household consumption basket

Certain household products

The government through Decree 307 (3 March 2022) partially modified the customs tariff for the importation of products that affect the household consumption basket, establishing:

  • 0% tariff for a period of six months for the importation of products classified in the following tariff subheadings—read the list (Spanish) [PDF 77 KB]
  • 0% tariff for a period of six months for the application of the Andean Price Band System for the following products:
    • Malt (from barley or other cereals), unroasted, classified under subheading 1107100000
    • Roasted malt (from barley or other cereals), classified under subheading 1107200000

Once these temporary reductions expire, the tariffs contemplated in Decree 1881 of 2021 (as modified, clarified or replaced) will be restored.
