Germany’s federal central tax office (BZSt) released guidance (CRS Newsletter 01/2022) with updated information concerning the common reporting standard (CRS) regime.

The updated information concerns:

  • Implementation of electronic reporting of missing self-certification postponed
  • New version of form to report missing self-certifications
  • Explanation for reporting of missing self-certifications
