Updated income tax brackets apply from 1 January 2022

Executive Decree Number 43375-H (published in the official gazette on 22 December 2021) updated the income tax sections referring to salary, profits, and tax credits. These updated income tax brackets apply from 1 January 2022.

Other recent tax developments concern:

  • The minimum wage for 2022
  • Expiration of the term for the payment of taxes on luxury homes
  • Collection of tax from legal entities
  • Update on local purchases free trade zone regime
  • Update of the audit manual of the foreign trade promoter
