A resolution published on 8 December 2021 in the official gazette sets for the minimum wage that will be in effect, beginning 1 January 2022.

In general, there is a 22% increase to the minimum wage for both geographic areas, one of which includes the northern border “free zone” (that is, the area located within 25 kilometers of the northern border of Mexico).
