Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan each approved their respective Finance Bills
The provincial assemblies of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan each approved their respective Finance Bills 2021 with certain amendments. Following the assent of the governors of each province, the measures have been enacted.
- In Punjab, there are changes to the sales tax regarding services and to the taxation of motor vehicles, among other measures.
- In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the amendments include an enhanced sales tax rate.
- In Balochistan, revisions were made to the sales tax on services and also regarding the stamp tax.
