Mauritius: Extended deadline for FATCA and CRS reporting (COVID-19)

The due date for submitting FATCA and CRS information has been extended to 16 August 2021.

The due date for submitting FATCA and CRS information has been extended to 16 August 2021.

The Mauritius Revenue Authority announced that the due date for submitting FATCA and common reporting standard (CRS) information has been extended to 16 August 2021 (from 31 July 2021).

The deadline extension is provided in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The tax authority also has been sending letters to financial institutions to review their FATCA and CRS information.
