Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda presented their budgets for 2021-2022
The Finance Ministers of the East African Community (EAC) member countries of Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda this week presented their budgets for 2021-2022.
Rwanda did not release its budget with the other EAC member countries.
The budgets (presented 10 June 2021) in addition to addressing relief measures in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, include specific income tax, value added tax (VAT), and other tax-related proposals.
