Transfer Pricing

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering transfer pricing projects
  • Prepare and analyze financial and economic data for tax and regulatory compliance through the use of MS Word, Excel, Access, and various statistical sampling packages
  • Help in the preparation of valuation reports for closely held or publicly traded companies
  • Review and analyze U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) financial statements
  • Research comparable publicly traded companies

Valuation

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze competitive industry dynamics and financial conditions of peer companies, evaluate business plans, adjust financial statements, and build cost allocation models
  • Prepare and analyze financial and economic data for tax and regulatory compliance through the use of MS Word, Excel, Access, and various statistical sampling packages
  • Perform economic and financial analysis in support of business advising and regulatory controversy
  • Participate in due diligence activities on pending M&A transactions, public-company purchase price allocations, goodwill impairment measurement, international restructurings and private-company fairness opinions
  • Value tangible and intangible assets
  • Build new and update existing financial models including diverse valuation methods such as discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, trading comparables, transaction comparables, and allocation models
  • Prepare valuation and other types of reports and presentations
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Bloomberg, Capital IQ and other application and data providers

Education requirements:

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics from an accredited college/university
  • Experience or coursework at an accredited college/university in transfer pricing, finance, financial Statement Analysis, valuations, quantitative and competitive analysis, statistical sampling and econometrics, plan evaluation, and/or operational performance analysis, financial modeling
  • Associate fulltime candidates should have targeted graduation dates from December 2023 through summer 2024
  • Intern candidates should have targeted graduation dates from Spring 2024 through Summer 2026
  • Business level in Japanese, business level in English
