KPMG sublets 20 Grosvenor Street to Fora
KPMG UK has sublet its premises in Mayfair to Fora, a flexible workplace provider with 14 operating sites across central London.
The properties comprise of a 39,500 sq ft office building operating over ground and four upper floors in 20 Grosvenor Street and a 1,500 sq ft retail unit in 19 Brooks Mews.
The premises have been sublet by KPMG to Fora for the remaining term of the lease, which expires in February 2030. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
KPMG opened 20 Grosvenor Street in 2015, after combining its London offices into one flagship HQ in Canary Wharf, to offer a location for clients to meet with KPMG in central London. The facilities at 20 Grosvenor Street were also made available by invitation for individuals to use as a drop-in space.
Jon Holt, Chief Executive of KPMG UK, commented:
“We recognise that since opening our client meeting space at 20 Grosvenor Street, the environment in which we operate has fundamentally changed. The completion of this deal marks another step forward for our firm, as we execute on our plans to grow the business and invest for the future. We are pleased the building will have a new lease of life with Fora.”
Enrico Sanna, CEO and co-founder of Fora said: “We have long considered Mayfair an ideal location for expansion within London and look forward to bringing an elevated workplace experience to this coveted area. Last month, we opened our newest building - Fitzrovia, Wells Mews, which is already fully let. With six further locations opening next year, Fora continues to grow its portfolio in both London and the UK.”
JLL advised KPMG, and RX London advised Fora on the transaction.
