Caroline Boulliat joins the UK firm and comments on KPMG boosts Life Sciences function.
Caroline Boulliat joins the UK firm this month as a partner to lead relationships for pharma clients headquartered in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Caroline has more than 20 years’ experience in the pharma industry, most recently running her own consulting practice after leaving Amgen in 2019.
Caroline started her career as a hospital pharmacist before taking a Masters in marketing. She embarked on a global career with a commercial focus on innovative drugs and biosimilar brands including Pfizer, GSK, MSD and Amgen.
Commenting on her appointment, Caroline says: “Our clients are facing a double-hit thanks to COVID. Sales reps can’t access the hospitals to share news of the latest advances, and trials have been severely impeded. Beyond COVID, of course there’s the complexities presented by Brexit – from supply chain management, to talent attraction and retention. What I’m going to focus on is helping clients adapt for the future and how things can be done differently post-COVID..
“One thing that attracted me to KPMG is the global network of experts at my fingertips; I know there’s someone who can support every client with every issue.”
Adrian Griffiths, Head of Life Sciences at KPMG in the UK, adds: “The next 12 months in particular will be a challenging time for the industry, and we are delighted to have Caroline on board. She will play an essential part in working with clients to really understand their issues and how KPMG can support them.”
