Alfonso Marone is a Partner at KPMG in the UK and is based in London. He has over 20 years' experience in deals and value creation in the global technology, media, and communications sectors, at Fortune 50, FTSE 250 and top quartile private equity level organisations.
He works with investors, business owners and corporate executives to shape and deliver complex value creation programmes based on buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, digital innovation, operational improvement, and international expansion.
Alfonso brings extensive investing, operating and advisory experience across B2B information, data services & fintech solutions; trade shows; film/TV entertainment & media; online video, mobile communications, and related technologies. He has led cross-border business development and investment programmes across the US, UK, Europe, Australia, India, Latin America and Africa.
Prior to KPMG, Alfonso served as Chief Development Officer and ExCo member of Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC and as Board Director of Dealogic, a SaaS platform for the investment banking sector.
He has also held the post of Senior Vice President of Corporate and Business Development at NBC Universal, under both General Electric Co. and Comcast Corp. He was also formerly a Partner & Head of Private Equity at Spectrum Strategy Consultants, advising PE houses on TMT deals of over $10 billion. He started his career in technology strategic planning at O2.
