Ellen joined KPMG Taiwan in 2004. Prior to joining the firm, she worked with the KPMG Vancouver office in the international tax department for three and a half years focusing on U.S. corporate and state tax. She has been working with KPMG for more than 20 years.
Ellen has also assisted several domestic corporations with respect to their outbound investments from Taiwan. This included outbound investment structures’ advisory, coordination with overseas KPMG to provide tax advice, etc. She also assists client in managing transfer pricing risk, including transfer pricing audit defense as well as the application of APA and MAP.
In addition, Elle also provides general tax advisory services to many multinational corporations invested in Taiwan, including tax planning and advisory, application for WHT saving, planning and application of treaty benefit, as well as global transfer pricing compliance and planning, cross-border tax dispute resolution, tax remedy procedure, tax planning for international investment and optimization of value chain.
Ellen is a frequent guest speaker in various foreign trade organizations and taxation seminars organized by KPMG Taiwan.
