Jerry Hung is a Taiwan-licensed attorney (2011). He graduated from the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Law, National Taiwan University (M.A.) and the Graduate School of Law, Waseda University (Ph. D.), Japan. Beyond Hung’s academic training, he undertook a solid training for legal practice at Nishimura & Asahi during his doctoral studies. Not only does Hung have extensive experience in advising Japanese companies on regular corporate compliance matter, his science and engineering background also enables him to provide professional legal service to domestic biotechnology companies, handle due diligence investigations, and assist with share acquisitions cases. Moreover, Hung represented client in BOT dispute and assisted the client with litigation proceedings in related thereto. On top of that, being certificated as a qualified self-assessor of Taiwan Intellectual Property Management System (TIPS), Hung specializes in intellectual property protection and personal data protection as well and is often invited by companies to give lecture for their in-house training.
