Abigail De Freitas is the Head of People for KPMG in Caricom with responsibility for the HR functions in Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean. She transitioned into this role in 2020 after 17 years within the Advisory department. As an Advisory Partner she was responsible for delivering HR related services including executive recruitment, compensation analysis, workforce planning, strategic planning and change management services to a range of clients in various industries. She now brings this expertise to assist with the internal HR needs to the firm. Abigail holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Business Management from the University of the West Indies and an MBA from the EDHEC Business School, Nice, France. Abigail has extensive work experience in various countries including Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, St. Lucia, Dominica, St. Vincent, Grenada, France and England.
