Responding to COVID-19
In response to the unprecedented economic and operational challenges arising from the global COVID-19 pandemic, financial regulators have reacted rapidly to support firms in maintaining their financial and operational resilience. Alongside government funding initiatives, regulators have deployed a variety of forbearance measures, from encouraging firms to use capital and liquidity buffers, to postponing stress tests, to delaying implementation of new and amended regulation.
