Pearlyn Chew

Pearlyn is a Partner in our real estate and asset management tax practice.

She specialises in local and international income tax, providing advice on various areas such as structuring and transactions for the private wealth, fund management and real estate sectors.

Pearlyn has more than 14 years of industry experience. She was previously seconded to New York for 18 months, during which she advised clients in the asset management industry on a range of tax issues. These issues ranged from funds structuring for real estate; private equity and debt and infrastructure funds; to the setting up of family offices and restructuring of assets for ultra-high-net-worth individuals.

Her areas of expertise include the acquisition and disposal of cross-border real estate in Asia Pacific and cross-border private equity; debt and infrastructure investments; the setting up of Singapore and offshore investment funds; permanent establishment and tax residency issues; corporate tax due diligence; and tax incentive applications.
