Nordic Ethics/ESG and Compliance Journey Survey 2022

Nordic companies completed the KPMG Nordic Ethics/ESG and Compliance Journey Survey in May and June of 2022. The report highlights trends in the current compliance landscape and illustrates how Nordic companies are faring with compliance activities.

On a positive note, the Board of Directors review and approve the compliance program for around 70 % of the companies. On the other hand, companies appear to be struggling with operationalizing their compliance programs, as only 50 % of respondents agreed that the line management takes responsibility for compliance.
