Turning the spotlight on Corporate Governance in KSA

11 January 2018 - 14 January 2018, 8:30AM - 5:00PM, AST

The Capital Market Authority (CMA) has introduced new corporate governance regulations for joint stock companies listed on the Saudi Arabian exchange. By enhancing the regulatory oversight of listed companies in all industries, the CMA seeks to bring its standards in line with those of other leading global exchanges. Against this background, urgent questions arise e.g. how can the firm’s management prove it has met its regulatory requirements and has effective corporate governance systems in place.  KPMG organized a workshop on corporate governance to answer these and other questions.

The workshops were designed and facilitated by our topic experts on corporate governance from KPMG Germany and Saudi Arabia to offer the opportunity to understand complete dynamics related to corporate governance systems, Capital Market Authority and international leading practices.

The event was organized in Riyadh and Jeddah. They provided a local and international insights and best practices of implementing and reviewing corporate governance systems for the participants from high profile companies including  Board Members, Directors and Executive Management.
