Ioan Bunuș

Artist roman activ în Germania și Franța începând din  anul 1982. Pictor, colajist, desenator, gravor, Ioan Bunus a absolvit institutul de arte plastice din Cluj. Opera să se inspiră din tehnica colajului; artistul adduce împreună diferite tipuri de hârtie, le asamblează, lucrează peste ele cu cerneală, încorporând scrisul de mână, inserând scrisori datând din secolul trecut și răspunsurile la acestea într-un dialog atemporal. Aceste vestigii din trecut sunt acoperite cu simboluri, cuvinte, dungi, pete, urme de vopsea sau dungi trasate din pensula, navigând într-o călătorie către inima memoriei și a istoriei ei.

Romanian artist active in Germany and France from 1982, Painter, collage artist, draughtsman, engraver, Ioan Bunus graduated from the institute of fine arts in Cluj. His work takes its inspiration from the technique of collage; collecting various types of paper, he puts them together, works over them in ink, incorporating handwriting, inserting letters dating from the last century and the replies to them in a timeless dialogue. These vestiges from the past are covered with symbols, words, streaks, stains, brushstrokes, traces of paint or paint marks, navigating a voyage to the heart of the memory and its history.
