Rafał Owczarek

Rafał has significant professional experience in transaction financial advisory services. He was involved in several hundred transaction-related projects. Since joining KPMG in 1996, he has worked on a number of audit engagements within the Audit Department serving both small and large customers, including publicly listed entities. Since 1999, Rafał has been a member of the Transaction Services group of KPMG in Poland and has gained extensive experience in leading a wide range of transaction related work. Since 2015 he has served as the Head of Transaction Services at KPMG Poland. Projects led by Rafał include a number of due diligence projects, both buy-side and sell-side vendor due diligence, and transaction-related assignments, including inter alia vendor assistance, share purchase agreements reviews, and transaction completion assistance, for multi-national and local companies originating from various sectors. Rafał helped investors with a number of privatizations in Poland over the years. Rafał’s experience also includes engagements for companies in situations of financial distress.Projects led by Rafal include a number of due diligence projects (buy-side as well as sell-side vendor due diligence) and transaction related assignments (including inter alia vendor assistance, share purchase agreements reviews, transaction completion assistance) for multi-nationals as well as local clients in respect of companies originating from various sectors. Rafal helped investors in respect to a number of privatizations in Poland over the years. Rafal’s experience also includes engagements for companies in distressed situations.
