PhD Arkadiusz Matusiak

Arkadiusz Matusiak is an attorney, former prosecutor, with over 25 years of professional experience. For many years, he held managerial positions in the public prosecutor’s offices, including the position of a Prosecutor at the Regional Prosecutor’s Office for Warsaw-Praga at the Department for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption, and the Head of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Wołomin. He created the Compliance & White-Collar Crime practice in two international law firms leading on the Polish market.
Arkadiusz focuses on commercial criminal law and criminal proceedings, including corporate investigations, compliance, asset recovery, corporate criminal liability and white-collar crime. He advises Polish entrepreneurs and international corporations operating in Poland on development of anti-corruption and compliance programs as well as whistleblowing procedures. He represents corporations in criminal proceedings for breach of trust, acting to the detriment of the company, unfair practices, bribery, theft of trade secrets, carousel frauds and other fiscal crimes. Arkadiusz has participated in thousands of criminal and civil lawsuits, including those against organized crime groups, state officials, as well as in cases for corruption, insurance and bank fraud, and money laundering.
Arkadiusz is the author of numerous publications in the field of criminal law, law enforcement agencies and access to public information.
