For many years he held leading positions in the structures of the Public Prosecutor's Office in Poland. He was, among others, Prosecutor of the Regional Prosecutor's Office Warsaw-Praga in the Department for Combating Organised Crime and Corruption and Head of the District Prosecutor's Office in Wolomin. He was part of the Compliance & White-Collar Crime practices at international law firms.
He specialises not only in criminal business law, but also represents clients in civil and commercial proceedings before common court of law, e.g., in proceedings for payment, for damages, violation of business secrets, infringement of intellectual and industrial property, unfair competition and others.
He advises Polish entrepreneurs and multinational corporations operating in Poland in civil and criminal proceedings and in developing compliance, anti-corruption and whistleblowing programmes.
He represents corporations in criminal proceedings concerning abuse of trust, acting to the detriment to the company, unfair practices, bribery, theft of trade secrets, VAT carousels and other fiscal criminal offences. He has represented clients in thousands of criminal and civil trials, including cases against organised criminal groups, public officials, as well as in cases of corruption or insurance, banking or Internet fraud and money laundering. Arkadiusz is the author of numerous publications on criminal law, legal protection authorities and access to public information.
