What is the KPMG Globerunner Cup?

The KPMG Globerunner Cup is a tournament designed to raise awareness of KPMG’s service offerings among our employees. The competition aims to help participants connect client challenges with KPMG solutions, promoting growth and collaboration across our global network.

Participants will engage in a tournament where they answer questions on KPMG service lines. This starts as a regional tournament within Pakistan. The top 10 performers in Pakistan will qualify for the global tournament, competing against top employees from KPMG member firms in 60 countries.

1. Initial Setup:

  • No prior registration. 
  • The tournament will take place from 10 - 12 June 2024.

2. Access the Globerunner Website:

  • You will receive a link to access the Globerunner website.
  • Familiarize yourself with the website & its features, and answer practice questions to prepare yourself. 
3. Join the Tournament:
  • On the days of the tournament, use the provided link to participate.
  • Complete a short quiz consisting of 50 MCQ questions based on KPMG’s service lines.
  • Top contenders qualify for the Final Round.

4. Compete and Earn Points:

  • Answer the questions to earn points for your member firm.
  • Track your progress and see how you compare with colleagues.

5. Local and Global Competitions:

  • The top 10 participants from KPMG Pakistan will compete against top performers from 60 countries on 27 June 2024.
  • Additional bonus points can be earned through activities outside of the Globerunner app.

6. Bonus Points:

  • Please submit all pictures and videos that you might have from the tournament.
  • Submit your bonus point activities through pk-fmcm@kpmg.com by 20 June 2024.
  • Tournament Start Date: 10 June 2024
  • Tournament End Date: 12 June 2024
  • Final Round : 14 June 2024
  • Bonus Points Submission Deadline: 20 June 2024
  • Global Finals: 27th June 2024

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Acceptance of Terms: By participating in the Globe Runner Cup tournament, participants agree to these terms and conditions in full.
  2. Eligibility: The tournament is open exclusively to employees of KPMG in Pakistan.
  3. Prohibition of Collaboration: Any form of collaboration between participants is strictly forbidden. Evidence of collaboration will lead to immediate disqualification.
  4. Question Completion: Participants must answer 50 questions within the specified time limit.
  5. Final Round: Participation in the final round to be scheduled on, June 14, 2024, is mandatory to be considered for prizes and selection. 
  6. Conflicts:Due to the short timeframe, we will be unable to accommodate scheduling conflicts. Any person/persons unable to participate shall be disqualified. 
  7. Scoring System: This tournament is time-sensitive. Points are awarded based on both speed and accuracy, with quicker and correct responses earning higher points.
  8. Prohibited External Aids: The use of any external aids or resources during the tournament is strictly prohibited.
  9. Prizes and Awards: Prizes will be given to top performers based on their scores and rankings in the tournament.
  10. Compliance with Rules: By entering the tournament, participants commit to following all rules and regulations set by the organizers.
  11. Right to Amend: The organizers reserve the right to amend or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
  12. Next Stage: Selected players from the initial tournament will receive a questions pack. Players who are top on this stage will receive a chance to compete in the Global tournament and win the exciting prizes.
  13. Final Authority: In the event of any disagreements or issues arising among participants during the competition, the decision made by the tournament organizers shall be conclusive and final.
