Andrew is originally from Paengaroa in the Bay of Plenty, and of Tūhoe descent.

He returned to New Zealand in recent years after more than 20-years in the food industry holding varying senior and executive roles, with 15 of those years working in Asia, Africa, the America’s and Europe for Irish, Japanese and New Zealand Food Groups.

He is a Director and has a multifaceted role as Head of KPMG Propagate which is KPMG New Zealand’s dedicated Agribusiness and Export Advisory Services while developing and positioning KPMG New Zealand's agribusiness strategy with KPMG's Global Head of Agribusiness, Ian Proudfoot.

He works predominately with New Zealand’s leading food and fibre businesses’, helping clients manage their risk and grow, and especially enjoys working with those who identify as being Māori or export-orientated.

Our aspiration is to fuel New Zealand's prosperity by accelerating the competitiveness of our food and fibre sector so there is never a boring day, and a lot to keep us motivated with the work we do.
