With 10 years in the firm, Paul Stott was made partner in 2013 and now works across a multitude of sectors including agribusiness, construction, professional services, retail and trades. Paul’s clients range from family-owned often inter-generational businesses to startups and he has a real love of restructuring mid-sized businesses to position them for growth. Whatever the business, Paul prides himself on getting alongside his clients and working closely with them to develop innovative solutions that create real value – in essence, finding a balance between challenging their thinking and giving them peace of mind. Interestingly, Paul trained as a butcher before deciding to become an accountant - an experience that was invaluable from a Private Enterprise perspective. Paul prides himself on saying it straight, able to relate to anyone and everyone and making sure his clients understand every step of the journey.
