Cushla Parish

Cushla re-joined KPMG in 2015 (previously with our Auckland team from 2004-2010) and is an Audit Technology Risk Partner based in Tauranga. Cushla leads the firm's national Audit Technology Risk team focusing on assessing the security processes and controls of our client’s IT environments to ensure appropriate measures are in place to mitigate risks related to the integrity and reliability of their systems and data. Cushla is experienced in analysing and assessing cyber and business processes controls, having successfully provided fully outsourced, co-sourced, and ad-hoc IT Audit, IT Advisory, and Internal Audit services to a range of clients across New Zealand, Australia, and Europe.  

Her background in technology risk, internal audit, and cyber security, means she understands the importance of managing risk as well as the underlying role this plays in defining a strong environment of internal control.  

Complementing Cushla’s detailed skills is a strong knowledge of business issues, which enables her to develop pragmatic and practical solutions that complement the effective operation of organisations across a variety of industries.
