Rob joined KPMG in 2007 and is a tax partner based in KPMG’s Tauranga office. In his role he works alongside a wide variety of businesses in the central North Island ranging in size from some of the largest businesses in the region to smaller, locally owned businesses.
Rob advises clients operating in a number of sectors and industries including agri-business, financial services, construction and retirement villages. He has advised clients on the tax aspects and structuring of their business and investments, restructuring, and assisting clients to resolve tax disputes with the Inland Revenue Department. Rob's advice is also sought by other accountancy firms and he regularly works alongside lawyers on transactions to ensure that the tax consequences of a transaction are considered and understood.
In advising clients, Rob focusses on solutions that fit the client’s business and commercial purposes.
