The 2024 KPMG Alumni Cocktail Reignite Event was held on Friday, 3 May 2024 at The Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event was a huge success with over 200 Alumni, Partners, and many representatives from the Firm in attendance.
Alumni from across the years gathered under one roof to reminisce, reconnect, and recharge their professional spirits.
Goodluck Obi, Partner & Head, Audit Services, KPMG West Africa, delivered the welcome address. The keynote address was delivered by a distinguished alumnus, Dapo Okubadejo, Honourable Commissioner for Finance & Chief Economic Adviser, Ogun State Government who later joined the panel session, which was anchored by one of the Alumni Association EXCO, David Brown, Managing Partner, DBrown Consulting / Alumni EXCO. The panelists, who are all alumni include Winifred Akpani, Founder/CEO, Northwest Petroleum & Gas Co. Limited, Folake Fadahunsi, CEO, Proworth Investment Company, and Ademola Odeyemi, MD/CEO, Optimus Bank.
The panel session was followed by the presentation of the 2024 edition of the KPMG Alumni Magazine, ‘Interactions’, by Toyin Gbagi, Partner & COO, KPMG West Africa.
The event was brought to a close with the vote of thanks delivered by Sade Odunaiya – Business Coach, ActionCOACH Business Coaching / Vice President, KPMG Alumni Association
