Samuel Asiyanbola

Samuel is a Partner in the Cyber & Privacy practice in KPMG West Africa and has garnered extensive professional experience in providing cyber and technology advisory services to KPMG clients in diverse industries and sectors of the economy, delivering value adding results with industry leading practices. 

He has extensive experience in cyber strategy and governance, cyber capacity building, privacy assessment and transformation, cyber crisis simulation and management, incident response, critical infrastructure protection, design of enterprise security architecture, information security assessment/audit, digital payment systems reviews and controls design, PCI DSS compliance services, IT general controls reviews, technical security assessment,  technology due diligence, planning & implementation of data analytics procedures as well as project management.

Samuel holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ilorin. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, and holds the ITIL V3 Foundation Certificate.

Additionally, Samuel is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and a member of several prestigious professional bodies, including the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), the International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC²), and the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

Samuel has chaired, moderated, and facilitated sessions at several leading conferences in Nigeria such as the CSEAN Cyber Security Conference, Oracle Cyber Security Summit, KPMG Cyber Roundtable; CBN NeFF Conference; UK FCDO Digital Access & Africa Cyber Programme Conferences; West Africa Cyber Security Summit, CCISONFI Conference, etc.
