Oseme is a Partner in the financial services practice of KPMG in Nigeria. Oseme has 16+ years of in-depth professional experience in the provision of audit services across a broad spectrum of clients within the financial services space which includes commercial and merchant banks, regulators, insurers, investment funds, asset management entities, pension fund administrators and custodians. He has assisted these clients with cross border capital raising, credit, risk, governance and regulatory reviews.
Oseme was on a global mobility program to KPMG Ireland in February 2017 for 26 months. During this period, he worked extensively on the audit of global clients operating in the banking, aircraft finance and leasing industry. In addition to IFRS, Oseme has experience across multiple accounting frameworks such as US GAAP and Irish/UK GAAP.
His strong interpersonal skill enables him to build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and colleagues. Oseme is very passionate about process improvement and innovation. Oseme is an ICAN prize winner, recipient of an academic award in physiotherapy and has received a recognition award for excellence in leadership.
Oseme holds a degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Ibadan. He is an Associate of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). He is also an ICAEW Business and Finance Professional and has an International Certificate in Banking Risk and Regulation from the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
