Omolara is a Partner for the Consumer & Industrial Markets Audit Division, KPMG in Nigeria.
Omolara holds a degree in Business Administration from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). She has also completed the Senior Management Program at the Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University.
She joined KPMG in October 2006 and has 16 years of professional experience in providing audit and assurance services to clients in a variety of industries and sectors including the consumer and industrial markets, manufacturing, fast moving consumer goods, retail industries, maritime and shipping, hospitality, technology, and e-commerce, amongst others.
Omolara has been involved in and led several of the firms’ initiatives, notable ones include the following:
- KPMG CFO Forum, a platform for identifying and sharing leading practices amongst Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) to strengthen qualitative financial reporting in Nigeria.
- KPMG Network of Women (KNOW) Mentoring Programme which seeks to build trust, stronger bonds and enhance retention, as a direct result of mentoring relationships for women in KPMG.
- People Initiatives - driving the agenda of people needs in the Audit Division and the firm at large; development and implementation of policies to help build the right culture and improve the welfare of the people.
She enjoys travelling, watching movies, cooking, hosting and entertaining people and spending quality time with her family and close friends.
