Williams Erimona

Williams holds a degree in Banking and Finance. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and he holds an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountant (CIMA).

He joined KPMG in 2006 and became an Associate Director in 2019. Williams has in-depth professional experience in the provision of audit, accounting, professional practice matters and assurance services across a broad spectrum of clients within the consumer and industrial markets, energy, power, IT, health and hospitality space. Williams was on a global mobility program to our Department of Professional Practice, KPMG South Africa for 18 months. During this period, he worked extensively on several technical accounting engagements in the financial services and energy and natural resources sectors and consumer markets. Within the past 2 years, Williams has led the operational excellence initiative with focus on Audit Innovation in the Audit Division which is one of the key pillars of our strategy to accelerate project execution and lower our cost of delivery. Williams plays an active role in the Technical Research and Public Policy of ICAN.

Outside of work, Williams loves spending time with his family and circle of close friends, going to the seaside, watching soccer, travelling, watching movies and reading.
