Window closing on 2025 tax reliefs

Dr. Veerinderjeet Singh, Senior Advisor on Tax Policy at KPMG in Malaysia, shared his input on the year-end tax reliefs, urging taxpayers to act by 31 December to secure the remaining 2025 reliefs, as only expenses actually paid by year-end qualify. He noted that getting receipts and documentation in order now is crucial to substantiate claims and maximise available reliefs.
